Ore ball mill
Usage and application:
Ore ball mill is used to grind different ore minerals.. It also be used for ore grinding, non-ferrous metal beneficiation, new-type building material producing. According to the discharge method, the ball mill divided to dry-type mill and wet-type mill.
Working principle:
Ball mill consists of a hollow cylindrical shell(the grinding jar) rotating about its axis, usually lined with abrasion-resistant material and partially filled with balls, which may be made of steel, ceramic, or rubber.
As materials are fed into the grinding jaw, the balls are lifted up by the continuously rotating shell and then they cascade down (or drop down on to the feed), from near the top of the shell. In doing so, the solid particles in between the balls and ground are reduced in size by impact and attrition.
